Groups
Various groups and clubs have come along and tried target shooting. These include team building exercises, Birthday Parties, Stag/Hen parties, Social club functions, and Business House shoots. We have also had various Scouts, Girl Guides, and Youth Clubs come along and have a go.
The cost for a group booking is the same as for Casual Shooters, $20.00 per target (please bring cash as we do not have EFTPOS). Each target includes 13 shots. This includes all the necessary equipment, such as a rifle, ammunition, targets, and coaching. No prior experience or license is needed.
We are more than happy to entertain a friendly competition within your group. Normally, all targets will be marked and handed back to the shooters as soon as they're marked. Alternatively, we can also put the scores up on the whiteboard for all to see as the event progresses or withhold scores till the end of the event, where you can have a grand reveal of who the sharpshooter of the group is! Just let us know on the day if you would like us to put one of these twists on your shoot!
For a rough time estimate, give 15 minutes for the safety talk at the start, then another 15 minutes for every round of shooting. We can take 3 shooters per round, so divide your group by 3 to give you the number of rounds it will take if every participant shoots one target. You are more than welcome to shoot more than one target.
As a rule of thumb, we tend to request that group bookings shoot 9+ targets. If you have a smaller group (shooting 5 or fewer targets), please book into one of our casual nights. The date and time of the group booking are subject to the availability of club members who can help run the groups, so please email cashmereshootinginfo@gmail.com with your group booking request including; how many people are in your group, a requested date and time, what the event is, general age range of participants if below 20 years old, and any special requests you may have.
